I’ve spent most of my career between functions.
Commercial and operations. Strategy and execution. Technology and physical business.
That has shaped how I look at organisations.
My background spans logistics and supply chain, technology and SaaS, B2B commerce, commercial growth and transformation — from building digital propositions to changing operating models and leading teams through periods of significant change.
Over the last decade in particular, much of my work has centred on a recurring challenge:
How do you turn good strategic intent into something an organisation can actually deliver?
That question eventually led me to develop the Directional Delivery Engine.
But frameworks alone don’t change organisations.
I believe in clear direction, individual responsibility, open leadership and giving capable people the room to act.
I tend to favour simple systems over complex governance, transparency over politics, and consistent delivery over organisational theatre.
